Good Morning Teams,
The new FRC Android and iOS apps are now available on line. Don’t know why that’s exciting? Read my November 28 blog. If you have an Iphone, search for “FRC Manual” in the App Store. If you have an Android, you can use this link right now. The App is expected to be available in the Android Market soon.
The Apps currently show the 2011 game information and will automatically update after Kickoff with the new Game Manual. Our thanks to Enable Training & Consulting and Appdelegates for their work on these Apps.
The encrypted Kit of Parts Checklist has been added to the Competition Manual page on our website.
3 days until Kickoff
See you then!

I had a heart attack when I saw this. Y U NO release game hint? If it's in the app, I guess I'll find out in a few minutes. ;)
Please show some love for adding the app to Windows Phone 7...
AFTER ALL, didn't Microsoft _donate_ a couple thousand Kinects?
;-)
Just realized something: One of my team's mentors (Mitch Kahn) is co-founder of App delegates! He didn't tell us he was working on an app for FIRST! :D
Would it be possible to get an iPad version too?
This is absolutely incredible, thanks FIRST!
Thanks FIRST, and Bill, for listening and responding to our needs!
Thank you!
AppDelegates here!
The Android app has been submitted to the Android Market but is taking its sweet time showing up. :) For now, just go to the link:
http://www.appdelegates.com/frc
and follow the directions. It's the same app.
For iPad users, check out "FRC Info" on the iTunes store. It will be updated some time Saturday after the kickoff. I think ETC may be working on an iPad version of the interactive manual as well.
The android app look and runs great on my old Moto Droid. Nice job. One thing I noticed though is that for the game manuals, there doesn't seem to see all the rules of a section, or multiple subsection's rules simultaneously. So if you didn't know which rule # you were looking for, you would need to click each individual one. Can we get this changed? Other than that the app has a lot of potential, having the team updates readily available is going to be handy. Thanks for the work that went into this!
I was able to find the app in the android market last night.
