Good Afternoon Teams,
Once you pack up your robot, please take a moment and let us know what you liked and didn’t like about this year’s build season. We have a lot of suppliers who would love to know what you think about their product. Did a part work particularly well? Did you ask a company a question and get a quick helpful response? Please share your stories with us at FRCteams@usfirst.org and we’ll pass any compliments on to our donors.
While you’re waiting for your first Regional it might be a good time to make some plans for the summer. Did you know you can borrow an official FIRST competition field during the off season for the cost of transporting it to your event? Reservations are being taken now. Quantities are limited, first come first served. Look here for more details.
10 days until the Week One Regionals begin
See you then!

Problems: Bumper rules were somewhat confusing.
A more significant problem for us is that we (Team 85) received bad parts in our KOP. We tried to replace a dead router (Radio/Router
Driver Station PN:WRT610N) and FIRST they sent us a Driver Station PN:DS-06062008-1.0 instead. When we informed FIRST of the mistake they made, they would not follow up on the issue, saying it was past the deadline. I guess I will have to spend a couple hundred on a new one. We also received two faulty relay
modules (spike) PN:SPIKE-RELAY-H. Usually, we do not have this many faulty parts.
I would like to ask about battery shipping. Out team is attending the Hawaii Regionals
1) Is it part of the withholding allowance if we bring both along?
2) What if both batteries are actually on Hawaii already, under the care of an associate of our team? Will the batteries still be considered part of the withholding allowance?
The situation we have is that we ordered two new batteries, but had them shipped to an associate in Hawaii (for the regionals there) so when we arrive, we would pick it up instead.
Please reply to this soon. Thanks very much
